Dom ran Santini Air homebase in California and occasionally flew stunts or aerial filming from some of his choppers with Hawke. He was once used to try and trap Airwolf, when he was taking an old chopper to Acapulco, Mexico to someone to sell it. The man who trapped him was a member of the F.I.R.M trying to gain a higher rank in the organization. A young girl stowed away on Dom's chopper, so she could see her father who was a sailor arriving in Acapulco. She was trapped aboard the chopper with Dom when it went down in Mexico's Baja Peninsula, near some salt flats mined by the locals.
