Vince Decter is a character who makes a one-time appearance in the Season 2 episode titled "Sins of The Past".
Biography[]
Vince Decter is an impoverished tennis pro on the island of San Remo, always trying to chat up and make himself appealing to old ladies in the hope of getting financial support. One of the women he hooked up with was Lila Santini. It appeared that she had a lot of money but Hawke later discovered that she did not have any money of her own. She had secured the money by blackmailing casino owner Jason Darius. When Lila was murdered and Dominic was arrested for the crime, Hawke returned to the island to clear his name. He met Decter who told him that Lila had said to him that she was going to score big soon and would take him along. He also told Hawke that Lila had said that if anyone ever tried to do her in, "her baby" would protect her. Decter didn't know it but it referred to a set of tapes Lila had prepared with evidence of Darius' doings.
